Little Man has made himself right at home! One thing that any prospective adopter should know is that he is definitely a lap dog, who loves to snuggle on your lap and in any soft and comfy spot he can find. I'ts not considered a bad habit here, but if you are the "no dogs on the furniture" type it will be something to work on! He is a love bug who just wants a family to call his own.

I had to share this adorable picture of Little Man snuggling with his new friends. One of his greatest strengths is his social skills- both with people and other dogs. He seems to know just how to behave with my frisky, playful female, my grumpy old man, and my hospice dog, a tiny older yorkie. I don't think he's all that wild about wearing clothes though as he kept finding a way to squirm out of his jersey. Or maybe he's not a Pats fan!

My first impression of Little Man as a sweet and loving boy has not changed! He's settled in so nicely here and is getting along perfectly with my dogs. He had a peaceful quiet night in his crate, is eating like a champ with the others, and running and playing in the yard.
The only thing so far that has bothered him is the vacuum- he ran away and hid. Other than that he is a happy, happy boy. Here is Little Man doing one of his most favorite things- taking a car ride. He gets SUPER excited when he sees his leash, runs right in the car, and settles in with his tail wagging for the whole trip. I love this boy already!

Meet Little Man, an adorable little bundle of love...He arrived here today from the home of his original foster mom who he had been with for 3 weeks- she needs emergency back surgery, so he's here in foster care. She had told me that he is just perfect in terms of behavior and I haven't found anything at all to dispute that! What a cuddly, loving boy. My first impression is that he is gentle, a little nervous, but looks to the other dogs for what the routine is around here and has fit right in. He has really taken to his foster dad Mike- and follows him everywhere! I'm told that when he was rescued about 2 months ago he had a wound to his back right leg, bite marks from some sort of wildlife- maybe a raccoon- but his leg is fully healed and he shows no signs of discomfort at all. He is playful too! What a nice, nice dog. I'm happy he's here.
